Dr. Kenneth J. Bevan has cared for patients for more than 25 years, and today he runs Bevan Dental, a calm, small-team practice on Villa Lane in Napa. His goal is simple: high-quality dentistry, honest advice, and a relaxed visit where you never feel rushed.
Dr. Bevan started his path in engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before choosing a career in healthcare. That background still shows in how he works. He describes much of what he does as micro-engineering on teeth and smiles, and he pays close attention to how every restoration fits and functions.
Dr. Bevan has trained for many years through Spear and Kois, and completed the Pankey Institute program from 2009 to 2011. He is a graduate of gIDE (the Global Institute for Dental Education) for dental implants and an Invisalign Platinum provider. He has also served on the board of trustees of the Idaho State Dental Association and as a peer review member.
Patients describe Dr. Bevan as honest and direct, but also warm and gentle. He takes the time to explain your options in plain language, and if something can wait, he'll tell you it can wait. He works at your pace, values your time, and tries to keep every appointment on schedule.
His focus is cosmetic and restorative dentistry, supported by modern tools like iTero digital scanning, CBCT 3D imaging, Overjet AI, and Curodont for treating early cavities without a drill.
As many offices move to a corporate model with a revolving door of dentists and staff, Dr. Bevan has kept things personal. Many of the team members at Bevan Dental have been with him for years, so patients see the same familiar faces at every visit. Together, they've built a practice that feels like a small family, with great dentistry and a fun, caring team.
“I've been through a very nervous situation with my teeth, and they've been so kind-hearted, guiding me through each step of the way. It's smooth, it's fun, and I look forward to it.”
Leena S., patient
“The best dentist I've ever had. I'd recommend Bevan Dental to anybody who needs a new dentist, or anybody who's been given advice they're questioning from another dentist.”
